Raj Khanna Associates Limited have been providing Agile Project Management and Change Management training via webinar for over four years.
One of our partners, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Police Authority have adopted the webinar approach as standard for several courses, with excellent feedback and fantastic results (100% pass at both Foundation and Practitioner).
At a recent course, a Head of Organisational Development said this, ‘Raj, please tell me what is the difference between this and classroom training’. In our opinion, if facilitated well, then the delegates will not see a difference and infact a large number, although sceptical at first, post training, have commented that they prefer this mode.
A. Participants can learn in the convenience of own environment rather than having to travel (required set-up will be advised). Furthermore, all sessions are recorded, allowing the participants to review any part of the training they did not understand.
B. Rather than have a three or a five-day block, the training sessions are spread over three to four weeks. By learning in smaller 'chunks', the participants will not be away from work for a long period of time and will have the opportunity to reflect their learning within the businesses practice before proceeding. This, we believe, allows the participants to focus on the learning, rather than simply passing their examination.
C. The participants have an increased chance of success in their examinations, having had the opportunity to make notes of the sessions covered before moving onto the next area of the syllabus. The practitioner is an open book examination and any notes that the participants make will not only improve their understanding but also aid in them answering practitioner questions.
