Cloud Services Provider (CSP) Databarracks re-certifies to Cloud Industry Forum’s Code of Practice.
Not settling for complacency – UK based cloud services provider, Databarracks has re-certified in Cloud Industry Forum’s (CIF) Code of Practice (CoP).
CIF’s CoP is a self-certification for organizations to confirm they adhere to exacting standards and best practices in cloud services provision.
By re-certifying in the Code – Databarracks once again demonstrates its commitment to high quality and transparent practices in cloud services provision.
James Watts from Databarracks said, “CIF CoP cements our status as an exceptional cloud services provider. As members of the Cloud Industry Forum we are committed to meet the Code of Practice’s requirements to be a leading CSP.
CIF CoP certification demonstrates we are a responsible CSP delivering powerful cloud solutions matching the Code’s demands for accountability, security and transparency.”
The Code of Practice was set up by the Cloud Industry Forum to cultivate trust, security and transparency within the cloud sector. APMG manages the certification, acting as CIF’s independent certification partner.
CIF CoP self-certification allows CSPs to signal to end users they operate to an appropriate level of transparency in their business and services – as well as their commitment to operational capability, practices and executive accountability for the declarations made to achieve certification.
Certification therefore offers security and assurance to the customer to make an informed assessment of a CSP’s capabilities.
APMG’s CEO, Richard Pharro said, “Cloud computing is a crowded sector and one in which customers have to place a great deal of trust in the provider. A cloud services provider, such as Databarracks, displaying the CIF CoP-certified logo inspires a great deal of confidence in the customer regarding its exceptional service and transparency.”
