APMG to deliver professional certification for popular ITSM standard
APMG has been appointed a Global Certification Partner for the new lightweight ITSM standard offered by the non-profit IT Education Management Organization (ITEMO).
The FitSM standard is designed to implement lightweight, effective ITSM processes into any organization. This world-class standard grew out of the FedSM Project – funded by the European Commission between 2012-2015.
APMG to deliver the FitSM certification
The certification confirms a professional’s ability to use the standard to install effective, fundamental ITSM processes efficiently.
Training in FitSM is aimed at simplifying IT Service Management at any level. Until now, it has been mostly limited to German speaking countries. Through APMG, FitSM can expand internationally through its global network of accredited, quality training organizations.
A fast, lightweight service management option
FitSM training and certification offers professionals a fast, lightweight option for acquiring the skills needed to help organizations deliver effective and efficient IT Service Management. All FitSM courses and exams can be completed in just one or two days.
FitSM is designed to be compatible with the International Standard ISO/IEC 20000-1 (requirements for a service management system).

APMG assesses trainers and training organizations around the globe to establish their suitability to meet the high standards required to become APMG accredited.
