A short training course and certification designed to build practical ability in agile and change to support effective transformations and change initiatives.
APMG launches new Agile Change Agent course and certification
We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Agile Change Agent training course and certification.
Increasingly adopted by organizations that recognize the need to respond quickly and easily to new opportunities, agile approaches have a significant impact on how change is managed and implemented.
There is no shortage of courses and certifications for those responsible for leading change. If you’re a project manager, the likes of AgilePM®, PRINCE2® and PMI’s PMP® are likely to feature on a shortlist of options. For change managers, our qualifications developed in partnership with the Change Management Institute lead the way in the UK and elsewhere.
However, the impact of Agile and increasing levels of change goes well beyond those responsible for leading change initiatives. Teams and individuals from across the business – whether actively involved in and/or impacted by change – need to understand the new operating environment and how they can contribute effectively.
This new qualification is designed for that wider audience, providing an entry into the world of Agile and change for all those in the business who contribute and are impacted, but whose day job continues to be a “business as usual” role.
The Agile Change Agent course and syllabus are based on the popular publication “Agile Change Management: A Practical Framework for Successful Change Planning and Implementation”. It aims to address the increasing demand for those within organizations to have a simple explanation of what agile is and how it can be used for the successful implementation and adoption of change.
Course participants will learn about agile ways of working and how an agile approach impacts their role and interaction with those driving and leading change. The course also equips participants with pioneering tools to ensure change initiatives are embedded, adopted and deliver benefits throughout their organizations.
Less focused on the theories of change, it is a very hands-on course full of opportunities to "see, do, learn", packed with exercises and practical tools, tips and advice.
Courses are delivered by APMG’s global network of accredited training organizations (ATOs).
