Following the revision of the COBIT 5 Foundation syllabus - the Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese exam papers have been amended to align with the revised syllabus. The revised exam papers are now available in both online and paper formats.
COBIT 5 is the current edition of ISACA’s globally accepted business framework for the governance and management of enterprise IT. The COBIT 5 governance framework provides guidance to executives and decision-makers concerning the use of technology to support organizational goals.
To date – over 22000 COBIT 5 foundation exams have been sat worldwide since its launch in November 2012. Some of the entities that have utilized the COBIT 5 framework include the European Union - used for its agricultural paying agencies, and Information Systems Group –an IT security consultancy based in Australia.
COBIT 5 was created for professionals working in the fields of assurance, risk, security, privacy and compliance – in addition to business leaders and stakeholders involved in the governance and management of information or information systems.
APMG is responsible for developing the COBIT 5 qualification scheme and accrediting training providers to deliver the scheme. COBIT 5 is split into five separate qualifications, recently expanded to facilitate the need for cyber resilience capability: Foundation, Implementation, Assessment, NIST Standards using COBIT 5 (INCS) & COBIT Assessor for Security (AS).
