NCSC Certified Training rebranded as NCSC Assured Training
Why rebrand to NCSC Assured Training?
Assured Training has come a long way since it was established in 2014 to help professionals and organisations quickly find quality cyber security training in the United Kingdom. Professionals can now choose from over 120 Assured Courses.
When Assured Training was launched, the National Cyber Security Centre itself, had not been created. Now NCSC, which is part of GCHQ, is firmly established as a government body that delivers on its mission to help make the UK a safe place to live and work online. To further this mission, NCSC are launching a number of new schemes and have used this opportunity to refresh their assured portfolio’s branding – resulting in Certified Training, becoming Assured Training.
What is APMG’s role in Assured Training?
APMG remains NCSC’s independent certification body - responsible for ensuring that the content and delivery of training courses meet NCSC standards.
When assessing training APMG maps what areas of the Cyber Security Body of Knowledge (CyBOK) a course covers – making it easy to identify which assured course is relevant.
The goal of NCSC Assured Training
NCSC aims to help professionals and organisations navigate the saturated cyber security training market. It can be difficult to identify competent trainers and good quality courses. Assured Training addresses this issue – providing customers with a choice of rigorously assessed training.
What does the rebranding mean for those who are looking for good quality training?
Assured Training still ensures organisations and individuals can feel confident when choosing training – confident they will receive training consistent with best practice.
