Adrian Dooley is the lead author of the Praxis Framework™, the world’s first free framework that encompasses the management of projects, programmes and portfolios.
Adrian Dooley has over 40 years’ experience in the industry - originally a construction project manager, he became involved in the development of project planning software for PCs in the early 1980's. In 1984 he set up a training and consultancy company, The Projects Group which he ran until it was sold in 2008.
Adrian was a founding member of Project Manager Today Magazine and Project Management Exhibitions Ltd. From 1996 to 2000, he served on the APM Council and during that period was the Head of Professional Development. He is also a non-executive Director of APM Group Ltd.
A frequent author and commentator on Project Management, Adrian has been published in Professional Engineer, Computer Weekly and The Daily Telegraph amongst others. He has been a regular speaker at conferences such as Best Practice Showcase, the APM Annual Conference and Project Challenge. In 2011, he was the lead author of the 6th Edition of the APM’s Body of Knowledge and built on that experience to create the Praxis Framework which was launched in 2014.
Emma Jones established one of the early Accredited Training Organisation’s 20 years ago, specialising in PRINCE2, and has a wealth of experience in developing and deploying project management best practice in both the public and private sector.
She has worked with APMG International developing courses and qualifications for 16 years, including PRINCE2®, MSP® and the Praxis Framework. Emma was APMG’s chief examiner for PRINCE2® for five years and is now the Chief Examiner for the Praxis Framework.
