ISACA has chosen APMG as the exclusive Accreditation and Certification Body for the latest iteration of the COBIT framework.

ISACA recently announced the newest version of COBIT - its globally renowned framework for the governance and management of information and technology (I&T) and the related certificate has now been released.
As the exclusive Accreditation Body for COBIT 2019, APMG will be accrediting all training providers delivering training courses for the new certification.
APMG accredits training organizations to exacting standards. This makes sure that people taking a course with an APMG-accredited training organization will be confident in the standard of training they will receive.
Richard Pharro, APMG CEO, said, “APMG and ISACA have had a long-standing partnership. APMG has been providing accreditation and exam services for COBIT 5 since 2012.
"I’m very pleased ISACA has chosen to further reinforce this partnership - entrusting APMG with the exclusive accreditation agreement for COBIT 2019.”
COBIT 2019 is a contemporary iteration of the popular I&T governance framework and certificate.
It has been updated to include modern processes, along with integration between the CMMI maturity model and ISACA’s current capability model.
COBIT 2019 also introduces design factors. These design factors make COBIT more malleable for the organization adopting the framework – depending on its industry and company attributes.
The COBIT 2019 certificate will be available at two levels – COBIT 2019 Foundation and COBIT 2019 Design and Implementation.
ISACA has also developed a COBIT 2019 Bridge Exam for people already certified in COBIT 5 Foundation. The Bridge Exam is available exclusively via APMG.
Those who pass the Bridge Exam will be awarded the COBIT 2019 Foundation certificate. This is an ideal option for people who wish to avoid any repetition while studying for COBIT 2019 Foundation exam.
Training courses will be available to book with APMG’s accredited training providers when COBIT 2019 training launches early next year.
