Discover the internationally adopted standard and reference model for describing and measuring digital and ICT skills and competencies

Identifying and addressing digital skills shortages with SFIA

It’s widely acknowledged that there’s a significant digital skills gap across industries, countries and continents resulting in the inability to recruit skilled professionals with the necessary knowledge and experience to support digitalization.

The World Economic Forum has estimated that 150 million new technology jobs will be created globally over the next five years, and 77% of all jobs will require workers to be proficient in a range of digital skills by 2030.

SFIA is the internationally adopted standard and reference model for describing and measuring skills and competencies used be professionals in ICT, digital, software engineering, cyber security and other technology-related roles. SFIA is used by governments, corporates, education, professional bodies, small businesses and individuals in almost 200 countries.

In this webinar, we introduce participants to the SFIA Framework: why it was created, what it can do, and who is using it. We consider the changing landscape of skills and organizational requirements and explain the value of SFIA for skills assessments, identifying skills gaps, career development and professional recognition.
