Training Byte Size Ltd. is the first company in the UK to offer the new accredited Project, Planning and Control qualification, which offers workers in all industries training on how to manage projects from initiation to completion.
The qualification supports the new guide by the Association for Project Management, ‘Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Control – The Practical Project Management of Time, Cost and Risk.’ It is the first comprehensive set of guidelines for project management that applies to all industries and sectors.
Until now there has been very limited information for planning and controls professionals about best practices and how they can be applied. The new publication and the new qualification scheme allows anyone, no matter what industry, to learn from the experience of some of the leading project planning and control professionals.
It offers a step-by-step guidance to take a project from initiation to execution. It gives an overview of the interdependencies between planning and controls functions, practical advice for almost any project controls professional and a way to enable effective capability growth for delivery organizations.
The qualification is beneficial for both individuals and organizations. Individual workers will gain a clear understanding of minimum standards and best practices in project planning and control, as well as guidance on how to comply with Works Information requirements laid out in contracts.
