Exam bookings via APMG available from 4 September
We’re delighted to be joining forces with the Association for Project Management (APM) as their new certification partner for the IPMA (International Project Management Association) qualifications.
APM is the chartered membership organization for the project profession in the UK.
The International Project Management Association (IPMA) is a federation of around 70-member associations across the globe which provides qualification standards for individuals working in project, programme and portfolio management. IPMA qualifications are internationally recognized and designed for project professionals at all levels in their careers.
As a world-leading accreditation and exam institute, APMG will apply our knowledge, focus and resources to ensure candidates have the best possible experience when taking an IPMA qualification.
APM will remain the member association body for IPMA in the UK and will continue to take a leading role in ongoing development of the qualifications as part of its strategic management. APMG will take on the administration, promotion and delivery of the qualification following a short transition.

The key dates for the transition are:
- 30 June 2023: Deadline for booking IPMA qualifications via APM.
- 31 July 2023: Deadline for candidates to sit their exam or current assessment stage through APM. Following this, candidates will be required to sit their assessment through APMG.
- 4 September 2023: IPMA qualifications available to book via APMG.
Candidates will continue to be supported throughout their studies during the transition period, however new exam bookings will be unavailable after 30 June 2023, until APMG opens bookings on 4 September 2023.
The qualifications will not be changing as part of this transition and those accredited to deliver the IPMA qualifications will maintain their accreditation.
