Registration for the CyberFirst Girls Competition 2021 is now open.
APMG works with NCSC to deliver the Certified Cyber Professional scheme and we are the certification body for NCSC Certified Training. We would like to encourage parents, guardians and teachers of girls who could be interested in cyber security, to enter NCSC's competition.
The CyberFirst Girls Competition aims to get more girls age 12 and 13 to understand why cyber security matters – with social media, online shopping and online services now being a part of our everyday lives, we need the cyber talent in place to protect us from online threats. The competition also explains what a career in cyber security involves and the opportunities it can offer.
The competition is a team event, with each team made up of 4 female students from Year 8 in England and Wales, Year 9 in Northern Ireland and S2 in Scotland.
Visit the CyberFirst Girls Competition website for more information. Schools can register their interest by emailing girls.competition@ncsc.gov.uk.
