Types of Online Learning
We all learn in different ways which is why many of our accredited training organisations use digital services and technology to provide an exciting way to deliver knowledge. On this website we have listed four main ways to learn. Here's what they mean:
Classroom
A traditional and popular way to learn. Expect to meet new people and participate in team-work for exercises. Learning techniques vary but typically may include powerpoint presentations, whiteboards and test papers. For organisations preferring in-house training, ask the trainer to come to your office. They may also be able to tailor the training to your business requirements. If you require training for yourself, check training organisation websites for scheduled classes.
Online Course
This is a live experience with a trainer delivering the course in real time, but with the added benefit of joining from the convenience of your own space. A great choice if you want the discipline of attending a course at a set time.
Online virtual classroom
Training sessions are pre-recorded providing flexibility for individuals or for organisations with an international workforce.
Self-paced e-learning
This is an online course without a live trainer which would typically comprise short modules with questions at the end of each module. The course can be paused and restarted at your convenience.
