Rajiv Khanna

Rajiv's relationship with APMG spans many years. He has more than 25 years experience managing diverse range of projects, programmes and change management in both private & public sectors in UK and abroad.

This experience has allowed him to develop a strong training and consulting business, acting as the lead trainer for Praxis Framework and Praxis Professional, Agile Project Management, Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, Working in Small Projects (WISP), Change Management, Managing Successful Programmes and PRINCE2.

In addition, Rajiv's achievements include:

  • Programme, project and change management Consultant for organisations in a range of industries
  • High-risk Gateway Reviewer for Cabinet Office
  • Author of several blogs, articles and videos in programme, project and change management
  • National Field Hockey Umpire and National Coach
  • Employee of the Year for LabVantage Solutions Limited

More recently, Rajiv successfully mentored Ricardo Santos and Rebecca Cummings, to become the first and second individuals to achieve their Chartered Project Manager Award from APM via Praxis Professional Route worldwide.

Rajiv's proudest achievement in his work was having the courage to set up Raj Khanna Associates Limited, an accredited training provider, and using the opportunity to mentor and coach several associate trainers. All of our trainers have gone on to become successful and provided excellent learning experiences for our participants.

Ricardo Santos

Senior Programme Manager, Irish Rail

Currently working for Irish Rail as a Programme Manager, Ricardo leads the team responsible for delivering a €1billion railway electrification project. Having worked on railways, renewable energy, telecoms and software development, Ricardo has a successful track record in nine different countries around the world. Cognizant that changing processes is impossible without the transformation of people, Ricardo defends that only happy teams can deliver great outcomes.

His achievements include:

  • Chartered Project Professional (ChPP)
  • Praxis Professional (PFP)
  • Change Management Practitioner (CMP)
  • Master of Engineering in Engineering Management
  • Post-graduate Diploma in Management
  • Post-graduate Diploma in Project Management
  • Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Electrical Engineering

Ricardo's proudest achievement professionally is to have successfully delivered large-scale projects in four different continents, nine countries and across a wide range of cultures. On a personal front, Ricardo is proud of the fact that his three sons look up to him. 

Eddie Borup

PPPM Specialist, Ibp Solutions Ltd

Eddie is a portfolio, programme and project management consultant and part time University Lecturer. He has worked in over 40 countries and have had several careers, starting in telecommunications as an apprentice and eventually becoming head of delivery with over 500 staff. Eddie has been a manager of projects, programmes, PMO’s and project departments, created and eventually sold his own consultancy practice. Served as an infantry officer, worked for the United Nations in conflict and post conflict countries. Passionate about learning, recently completed an MSc in Programme & Project Management, obtained his ChPP and is a Fellow of the APM.

Eddie's proudest achievement?

Having left school with no real qualifications and completing a four year apprenticeship, like many, I have spent my career suffering from imposter syndrome. I finally went to University, graduating in May this year, having been awarded a distinction in my MSc. It really is never too late to learn.

Sheila Roberts

Chief Progress Officer for Resilience Professionals Ltd

Sheila Roberts is the Chief Progress Officer for Resilience Professionals Ltd. She has more than three decades of PPM experience, leading project professionals to deliver successful initiatives. She is accredited in many PPM and supports Best Practices. Sheila is passionate about the need for resilience and facilitating progress. Sheila is a co-author of ‘Business Resilience; A practical guide to sustained progress delivered at pace.’ She led the development of the Resilience Profile and other unique tools in the Business Resilience Framework.

Sheila is a Consultant, Assessor and Trainer in PPM and Business Resilience. She is a recognised specialist holding positions as Chair of Examiners and Chartered Assessor, in addition to being a Chartered Project Professional herself. She has been elected by competitor organisations as Chair of the PPM Training industry body, the Association for Training Excellence.In her spare time Sheila loves to read, walk, cycle and participates in car related activities with her family.

Carl Karshagen

Learning Programme Director, QA Ltd

Carl currently concentrates on assisting candidates applying their submissions for attaining Chartered Project Professional status. He mentors and coaches on best practice submissions that enhance their chance of success.

In addition, Carl develops and delivers bespoke project management related learning interventions to corporate clients. He is also involved in competence framework development and role descriptions for specific organisations.

Carl's experience has been gained in the nuclear industry, branching into defence, mining, pharmaceutical, local and national government and transport, amongst others.

Carl's proudest achievement has been achieving his Master's Degree with Distinction within two years, followed by attaining ChPP status.
