Agile Change Management Certification
The structure of the Agile Change Agent & Coach examinations is below:
- 50 multiple choice questions
- One mark awarded for each correct answer (there is no negative marking)
- Pass mark: 25 marks or more out of 50 (50%)
- 40 minutes duration
- Closed book
The pass mark for the Agile Change Agent & Coach examinations is 25 marks or more out of 50 (50%).
Successful candidates will be able to recall, demonstrate understanding and apply the Roadmap, Business needs, Relationship building and Environment concepts outlined in the Agile Change Management text, including terms used and process steps.
The certification is aimed at people who are working directly in Change or Project Manager roles, or any other “business as usual” roles taking part in a change initiative. A boarder audience:
- Provides practical understanding for managers and staff
- Entry for those who know about Agile but want to know about Change
- Entry for those who know about Change but want to know about Agile
The Agile Change Agent and Coach course and exam is based on the text Agile Change Management by Melanie Franklin. It is available to purchase via our online bookshop.
The Agile Change Agent exam is currently available in English, Italian & Polish.
The Agile Change Coach exam is currently available in English.
The Agile Change Management book is currently available to purchase in English.
For individuals self-studying it is almost impossible to say. As all candidates have different experience and amount of time available for study, it varies from person to person. We suggest you buy the manual and have a look through for yourself before deciding how long you need to spend learning.
For those studying with an accredited training organization, the course is generally delivered over 2-3 days.
It is well worth investigating with the training providers directly, as some will offer tailored, online or blended learning solutions.
The Agile Change Agent and Coach examinations do not expire, so there are no on-going maintenance requirements.
Agile Digital Services (AgileDS™) Certification
Agile Digital Services (AgileDS) guidance is based on the widely recognised Agile Project Management (AgilePM) framework from the Agile Business Consortium and is specifically designed for the development of digital services in an Agile way.
The guidance is closely aligned with the Government Digital Service (GDS) principles and offers practitioners a mature approach that embraces Agile product and service development in the context of business change-focused programmes and projects.
APMG – in partnership with the Agile Business Consortium – has developed a syllabus and exams for practitioners to become AgileDS certified.
