APMG now delivers End Point Assessments for the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard.
APMG is now registered by the UK Government as an Accredited Assessment Organisation to deliver End Point Assessments (EPA) for the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard.
The End Point Assessment (EPA) and the Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard
As an Assessment Organisation – APMG does not deliver the Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship itself. APMG performs the independent EPA – which represents the final stage of the apprenticeship.
Only when an apprentice is successful in the EPA will they achieve the status of a certified Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprentice.
The apprenticeship typically takes 24 months to complete. The apprentice must have achieved level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics either before or during the apprenticeship before taking an EPA.
As part of their development – apprentices are also required to achieve a suitable level of knowledge, confirmed by an IPMA Level D qualification or APM Project Management Qualification prior to their EPA.
A new opportunity for aspiring project managers
The apprenticeship and subsequent EPA confirms that an individual has the skills and knowledge to confidently manage project work and teams.
APMG’s CEO, Richard Pharro said, “APMG is dedicated to helping people achieve complete professionalism – regardless of their discipline, age or background. The Associate Project Manager Level 4 Apprenticeship opens the door for a new generation of project management professionals to emerge. It’s a great opportunity to join a profession which is highly valued by employers.
“Our expert assessors and renowned assessment standards provide optimal conditions for an apprentice to showcase their expertise. This ensures our EPAs fairly assesses the knowledge and competence an apprentice has achieved during their training.”
