Benefits of DVMS NISTCSF Certification
For Individuals
- Enable all employees to gain the knowledge and skills to be part of a culture focused on creating, protecting, and delivering resilient digital business value
- Equip ITSM, GRC, Cybersecurity, and Business professionals with a detailed understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NISTCSF) and its role as part of a DVMS integrated, adaptive, and culture-driven governance, resilience, and assurance system capable of delivering resilient, compliant, and trusted digital outcomes.
- Empower ITSM, GRC, Cybersecurity, and Audit practitioners with the skills to design, implement, operationalize, and audit an integrated, adaptive, and culture-driven Digital Value Management System® (DVMS) capable of transforming systemic cyber risk into operational resilience
For Organizations
Instead of replacing existing operational frameworks, the DVMS elevates them—connecting and contextualizing their data into actionable intelligence that validates performance and exposes the reasons behind unmet outcomes.
By adopting a DVMS, organizations are positioned to:
- Maintain Operational Stability Amidst Constant Digital Disruption
- Deliver Digital Value and Trust Across A Digital Ecosystem
- Satisfy Critical Regulatory and Certification Requirements
- Leverage Cyber Resilience as a Competitive Advantage
For Leadership
- For the CEO, the DVMS provides a clear line of sight between digital operations, business performance, and strategic outcomes— turning governance and resilience into enablers of growth and innovation rather than cost centers.
- For the Board of Directors, the DVMS provides ongoing assurance that the organization’s digital assets, operations, and ecosystem are governed, protected, and resilient—supported by evidence-based reporting that directly links operational integrity to enterprise value and stakeholder trust.
- For the CIO, the DVMS provides a structured way to align technology investments and operations with measurable business outcomes.
- For the CRO, the DVMS provides a way to embed risk and resilience directly into operational processes, turning risk management into a driver of performance and adaptability.
- For the CISO, the DVMS provides a continuous assurance mechanism that demonstrates cyber resilience and digital trust across the enterprise and its supply chain.
- For Internal and External Auditors, the DVMS provides verifiable proof that the enterprise can maintain operational continuity under stress

FAQs
Created by the DVMS Institute, accredited by APMG International.
The DVMS Institute - NIST Cybersecurity Framework accredited certification training programs teach organizations how to leverage the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and its underpinning Informative references (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001 etc.)to build an adaptable and auditable overlay model capable of facilitating the digital risk, resiliency, and privacy outcomes government regulators expect.
The DVMS Institute - NIST Cybersecurity Framework Foundation certificate course teaches those responsible for creating the business case to adopt the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and a DVMS program. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) was founded in 1901 and is now part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Created through collaboration between industry and government, the NIST Cyber Security Framework (NCSF) consists of standards, guidelines, and practices to promote the protection of critical infrastructure. The prioritized, flexible, repeatable, and cost-effective approach of the Framework helps owners and operators of critical infrastructure to manage cybersecurity-related risk.
To date it has been adopted in 27 countries.
When you pass an exam – you will instantly have the option to claim a digital badge as representation of your new certificate. Your badge can be embedded on an email signature, website, digital CV, or shared via LinkedIn.
Access the downloadable guide for more information on how to claim your digital badge.
Using a company device in which you do not have administrative rights and access to download additional software tends to cause issues when sitting your exam via ProctorU, as outlined in the Candidate Guidance Agreement.
If you wish to sit your exam via ProctorU again, you will need to pay a reschedule fee of £32 (which you can do in the Candidate Portal) before you can select a new date and time.
Alternatively, you can reschedule your exam via our AIPP service, where you can take your exam over Zoom without downloading any additional software. Please note there are fewer exam slots available through AIPP.
Full details of our Proctoring options can be found on our Proctoring Page.
Since 2018, we are no longer registered for AXELOS qualifications and are unable to provide the certificates.
If you received your AXELOS qualification before this time, you can contact customer service and upon providing your candidate number, ask if a copy of your certificate still exists in our system.
Alternatively, you can reach out to IT PeopleCert directly with this request quoting your candidate number.
If you do not have your candidate number, we can provide it to you. Additionally, we are happy to provide a letter of verification for any exams sat with us.
Your training organization specified that they wish to view candidate results before releasing. After they have released them, you will be able to create/view your Digital Badge and download your Digital Certificate in your Credly account in the Certificates section of your portal.
If you feel you had issues during your exam, you may submit an appeal to customerservice@apmgroup.co.uk. We will review your appeal and respond. See APMG’s policies for details on the full appeals process.
