For some certifications individuals also have the option to self-study in preparation for the exam and, when they are ready, can even take the exam from the comfort of their home or office.

Accredited Training Organizations (ATOs) usually include the examination as part of their training course – please check with your ATO before booking.
For those who self-study, the exams can be taken anywhere in the world, from the comfort of your home or workplace, with online proctoring. A proctor will access your exam as you take it to monitor the exam environment through your computer's desktop, webcam and microphone.
Once you have booked an exam, you will be given a registration email to schedule an appointment with your live proctor via our Candidate Portal. Our online proctoring system allows you to take your exam anytime as sessions are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For more information, please click here.

Foundation and Practitioner examinations are currently available in English.
Translations will be considered subject to market demand.
If you are taking the examination through an Accredited Training Organization, the costs of the exam is generally included in the course fee.
APMG International uses a global pricing structure, so for those sitting exams at a public exam centre, the cost is dependent on where the exams are being sat. For individuals self-studying it is almost impossible to say. As all candidates have different experiences and amount of time available for study, it varies from person to person. We suggest you buy the guidance and have a look through for yourself before deciding how long you need to spend learning.
For those studying with an accredited training organization, courses are generally delivered over 4 days (3 days for foundation). It is well worth investigating with individual providers, as many will offer tailored and blended learning solutions.
The AIPGF certification is not valid for a defined period and will not expire.
The AIPGF Foundation examination consists of 40 multiple-choice questions, with 20 marks (50%) required to pass. It is a closed-book examination to be completed in 40 minutes.
The AIPGF Practitioner examination is a complex multiple-choice paper, made up of 4 questions each worth 20 marks giving a total of 80 marks. The required pass mark is 40 marks (50%). The exam is 2 hours in duration and is closed book.
Unfortunately, no. Only Accredited Training Organizations and their registered partners are authorized to use these logos. If you do not fall under these categories and would like to request permission to use the logo, please contact the APMG-International Service Desk (servicedesk@apmg-international.com).
However, successful candidates are able to share and display their digital badge publicly.
Candidates will be able to claim their digital badge and electronic certificate from their APMG Candidate Portal within two business days of their exam result being issued.
