Technology Business Management (TBM) Certification
The TBM certificates are not valid for a defined period of time and will not expire.
The Process Communication Model® (PCM)
Find a training course on the Kahler Communication France (KCF) website. Once you have completed your Process Communication training and have requested to seek certification you will be asked by your training provider to provide your name and email address. Your details will then be passed to KCF.
KCF will register your details in the APMG Process Communication Certification portal.
The assessment process is divided into two stages, an online recorded interaction assessment and an oral assessment. You will be required to successfully pass both elements of the assessment process in order to gain certification.
The Full Application fee will be payable by your training organization. Costs will be incurred if you are required to re-take the Oral Assessment. The cost of any re-takes will be payable by the candidate:

- Online Assessment Re-Sit: No Charge
- Oral Assessment Re-Take: €75*
*fee applicable for 2nd re-take and any subsequent re-takes
The online assessment will consist of 6 character scenarios that represent each of the 6 personality types. Each scenario will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Once you have successfully passed the online assessment, you will be able to progress to the oral assessment stage of the certification process.
The oral assessments will be conducted via a telephone and video conference (a webcam will be required). The assessment will be conducted by a KCF approved assessor who will hold appropriate subject matter knowledge and relevant experience to assess your competency.
During your assessment you will be required to demonstrate your knowledge of the Process Communication Model by talking through certain situations and scenarios with the assessor, and being able to respond appropriately. The assessment will take approximately 1 hour to complete. This equates to 10 minutes per assessment for each personality type.
Currently the certification is available in French only.
Further translations will be considered subject to market demand.
The certification is not valid for a defined period of time and will not expire.
The Professional Services (PS) Professional®
Professional services are a range of different occupations providing support to businesses of any size and in any sector. These occupations include (but are not limited to) accountants, lawyers, engineers, consultants and architects – anyone who is providing their knowledge and expertise.
A Professional Services Professional will usually hold one or more certifications or qualifications relevant to the industry in which they work.
This certification scheme is for people working, or aspiring to work, within Professional Services.
The PS Professional is an integrated set of techniques for professional service teams which recognises the fundamental importance of both technical and non-technical expertise, whilst taking into account existing certifications held by the individual. The material is drawn from several sources and has 5 focus areas:
- Athlete – Personal Effectiveness
- Rainmaker – Commercial
- Catalyst – Delivery/Operational
- Executive – Business
- Authority – Subject Matter Expert/Technical
There will be a Foundation level training course and examination for all 5 areas. We also hope to develop the scheme further with a Practitioner and Expert level of certification.

The exams are currently only available in English.
For individuals self-studying it is almost impossible to say. As all candidates have different experience and amount of time available for study, it varies from person to person. We suggest you buy the manuals and have a look through for yourself before deciding how long you need to spend learning. For those studying with an accredited training organization, each foundation course is generally delivered over 3 days. It is well worth investigating with the training providers, as many will offer tailored and blended learning solutions, and there may also be pre-course and/or home work.
The PS Professional Foundation certificate does not expire.
It is desirable for candidates to hold a foundation level of accreditation in a chosen field (for example, ITIL, Cisco, PMI etc.) before attending the Authority training course and/or sitting the Authority Foundation exam, but it is not a mandatory requirement.
TSIM Foundation Course
TSIM is a guiding framework to help support the successful development, implementation and sustainability of telehealth services. It provides a roadmap to boost clinical and technical collaboration required to successfully design high quality, highly reliable telehealth services that are integrated into the traditional care delivery system.
TSIM is intended for telehealth leaders and teams that are responsible for their organization’s digital transformation efforts. TSIM helps leaders simplify and deliver this complex process.
Organizations have struggled for decades with developing, implementing and managing telehealth services. Many of the challenges that impaired the success of early telehealth pioneers are still inhibiting leaders today. As investments in telehealth technologies continue to hit all-time record highs, TSIM is an investment in the people who are charged with developing and implementing the successful telehealth services that will transform care delivery.
The TSIM Foundation exam is currently only available in English.
The course is self-paced however 6 weeks is recommended to complete the course.
There is no expiry date on the TSIM certificates.
The TSIM Foundation course is priced at $495 which includes online an online learning platform, an interactive course, digital copy of the TSIM guidebook and access to a live customer support team.
Unified Service Management (USM) Certification
USM is a universal methodical approach for service management, providing a standardized management system for a service organization to manage its people, its processes, its technology, and its services, based on an explicit service management architecture. Find out more at the USM website.
The Core Guidance for the USM Foundation exam is the ‘USM – An Introduction’ manual, which is available at the USM Portal, at Amazon, and through your ATO.
The USM Foundation examination is available in English and Dutch.
