Praxis Framework is now available in 6 languages.
Praxis Framework™ now available in Dutch
We’re pleased to announce the Praxis Framework is now available in Dutch, thanks to the tireless work of a volunteer team from the Best Practice User Group in the Netherlands.
Praxis is the first free framework to integrate projects, programmes and portfolios. It includes a body of knowledge, methodology, competency framework and capability maturity model.
Free and available online 24/7, Praxis represents a new era of open and freely available project management guidance.
Dutch represents the sixth language for Praxis, joining English, Spanish, French, Italian and Chinese. Polish and Indonesian translations are underway too.
A major strength of Praxis is the fact it’s a community-driven framework. Practitioners can suggest improvements or extensions to any page and these will be considered for inclusion as it’s recognized that one size does not fit all and can easily be tailored.
A FREE framework?! Project professionals are guaranteed to ask, ‘what’s the catch?’ but the simple answer is “there isn’t one”.
Praxis Framework Training and certification
Praxis Framework training and certification helps delegates to understand and apply the framework to projects and programmes – helping them to achieve optimum results and return on investment.
Certification is available at Foundation and Practitioner levels. A Bridging course is also available to reach Practitioner certification, designed for those that may have already become certified in other frameworks such as PRINCE2® or PFQ.
Given the integrated nature of the Praxis Framework – covering projects, programmes and portfolios in the same framework – you would need to take at least three separate project and programme management certifications to reach the breadth of guidance provided by Praxis.
Approved training courses are available via APMG accredited providers. A number are based in the Netherlands, ready to support Dutch PPM practitioners.

Adrian Dooley, Praxis Framework Lead Author says:
"The Praxis Framework realigns good practice so that it serves that original goal; providing clear, coherent guidance on optimising project, programme and portfolio delivery. Because the entire framework is freely available online – Praxis provides a highly accessible resource that can be dipped into at any time. If a challenge arises during project delivery, a project manager can quickly search for a solution.”
