DevOps Agile Skills Go Mainstream
The need for DevOps Agile skills is essential to IT professionals and Enterprise IT organizations as they strive to be competitive in the new fast paced, always on world of software and application development. Businesses now expect continuous and iterative delivery of IT Services. DASA was established to provide a competence model and universal qualification program to help improve the communication between software development teams and IT. DASA is an open, global community for DevOps and Agile skills development. It is a community-driven platform, open to participating member organizations that help define role-based competencies and learning paths.
Working with APMG International, an independent top-tier exam institute, is a fundamental component of DASA's Competence Model and Accreditation Scheme
"DASA provides organizations with a comprehensive competence model and accreditation scheme to adequately ensure their teams can obtain the DevOps Agile skills and knowledge they require as they invest in building agility within their IT development and operations. Partnering with a World Class Exam Delivery Provider like APMG International assures a critical element in the DASA value chain," says Maurice Boon - CEO Quint Wellington Redwood and a member of DASA Board.
Why DASA - Why Now?
"The launch of DASA in April has tapped into a real need in the IT market for DevOps Agile Skills Development. The DASA approach as an open source and community-driven movement where everyone is welcome to contribute is resonating among IT professionals and IT departments worldwide. At APMG the timing is pitch-perfect for us to be an active contributor and partner in this global movement. Over recent years we’ve seen an increase in demand for more guidance on agile and how it relates to other frameworks and methodologies. AXELOS recently added the PRINCE2 Agile® qualification to their portfolio to complement the hugely successful PRINCE2® project management methodology, and launched ITIL® Practitioner to further improve the world’s most widely used IT service management framework. Our Accredited Training Partners (ATOs) are extremely excited about our partnership with DASA, " says Richard Pharro CEO, APMG.
APMG International is an award-winning exam institute and a global accreditation and certification body. APMG works with government bodies, not-for-profit and commercial partners to develop best practice products to help individuals and their organizations deliver positive results.
Our aim is to provide consistent quality and support to candidates and training organizations whether they are operating globally or as a specialist local provider.
